We have a simple approach
We care.
We care about you and your health.
We care about the community we serve.
We care about our team.
Modern life has created a vicious cycle of pain for many people, preventing them from exercising and being mobile. In turn this limitation increases and worsens most pain, making mobility and exercise harder and more difficult. At ORKU we want to help you to break that cycle by getting back to a healthier life with less pain, reduced stress and more movement.
Frequently we see clients only being offered treatment when the problem has become debilitating or a pattern of treating the symptoms rather than the cause. Our vision is to get you out of pain by tackling the direct cause alongside educating and empowering you to maintain your optimum health on a continual basis

Rhys Owen DC
Rhys graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan with a distinction in Masters of Chiropractic. Rhys has been treating and caring for the people of Bristol since making the city his home in 2014 and has 8 years experience as a Chiropractor. Before founding ORKU Rhys was a senior Chiropractor in an established clinic.
“I am always fascinated with how our bodies adapt to the stresses put upon them and how this can often lead to pain. The human body is incredibly complex and I love the challenge of working out the route cause of a problem and how I can help improve your health and wellbeing through Chiropractic care.
Being a keen squash player and having suffered with low back pain as a teenager, my eyes were opened to the world of Chiropractic and how it can help not only with pain relief but plays a vital part in keeping the body in optimal condition for sporting performance.
Over the last 8 years I have developed vast experience in dealing with a range of common spinal problems and other musculoskeletal conditions. I look forward to meeting you, discussing your goals and taking you on a journey to greater spinal health and overall wellbeing”

Anwen Carter-Pearce DC
After graduating from the University of South Wales with a distinction in Masters of Chiropractic, Anwen has over 6 years experience treating and caring for the people of Bristol and the surrounding areas. As an experienced chiropractor Anwen is a mentor to graduate chiropractors through the Royal College of Chiropractors and her previous role was a lead Chiropractor role in an established clinic.
“I specialise in chronic back pain and disc injuries, having suffered from this myself following a Trampolining accident at the age of 15 and as a result suffered from daily headaches and severely limited movement after lying down. Chiropractic has allowed me to move freely without pain and to continue with the sports and exercise I love. I knew very quickly that I wanted to spend my career doing the same for others. I love working with people of all ages with a diverse range of goals. My approach combines high quality hands on care to offer as swift as possible recovery with a strong emphasis on self care and maintenance through exercise and rehabilitation.
I look forward to meeting you, hearing about your individual goals and helping you reach them.”
